I read a very good book called "A New Earth" on the flight back from Atlanta (cousin's wedding) over Memorial Weekend.

My wife thinks the author of that book is a modern-day C.S. Lewis, who is probably my favorite author of all time.

I was thoroughly enlightened by the time I got off the plane.

Just as C.S. Lewis wrote in "Mere Christianity", a new Earth is being formed, slowly but surely, by the emergence of new New Men. When a human being awakens and becomes aware of the existence of an ego-less "True Self" within each of us, a new Being is born.

The more aware we are of our ego-centric being, the less its grip on us becomes, and more and more our True Self emerges.

"It is only when we lose ourselves that we truly find ourselves."
