Leaders vs. Managers

What is the difference between leaders and managers?

Some people are tremendous leaders but poor managers. Others are fantastic managers but yet terrible leaders. Of course, there those rare few who are great at both.

Here's a good way of thinking about the differences:

Managers organize resources to make widgets. Leaders inspire and create CHANGE.

Managers have employees. Leaders have followers.
