Free Fall

In case you are wondering how the country is reacting to Mr. President's new economic policies, take a look at the stock market performance since the policies were approved.

As one colleague said to me today, "one could get seriously hurt skiing down the slope of that stock performance chart." It's true. It is that steep a decline!

The markets have spoken. The new economic policies threaten the capitalism that built this country in the first place. No wonder we are in a free fall.

Instead of "stimulating" recovery, the only thing that the new policies have done is DESTROY the retirement savings accounts and pension funds of millions of American citizens.

The guy at the White House sure is introducing change as he promised he would.

Unfortunately the only change is that for millions of Americans, the hope for retirement is now gone.

But wait, wasn't "hope" one of the buzz words that Mr. President was selling to America during the elections?

Well, lets just hope that the free fall ends at some point.

I hope that is not too much to ask for.

President Obama has made plenty of disappointing decisions since he took office. I continue to feel like he is quietly turning the United States into a socialist country.
